Set in the sword
Comes installed when you take Endu from the shrine, so there is nothing to find.
Wind Dash is the jump of Queen's Domain: Holy Sword Endu lets you thrust through the air between platforms, and every Wind Gem socketed in the sword adds one more dash before you land. Two separate upgrade paths run through Endu. Wind Gems decide how far you can reach, while weapon experience decides how hard it hits, so grinding levels never gets you across a gap.
Beat the Shrine Guardian and take Endu from inside the Endu Shrine, which also unlocks Flying Sword. It starts with 10 Power, deals Slash damage and already holds one Wind Gem, so you can dash the moment you pick it up. The item description shows sockets for five Wind Gems plus a separate one for the Storm Gem.
Where this happens on the route
Face the platform and press the dash, which is right-click on PC. You chain one dash per installed gem before landing, and the gem indicators in the upper-left of the HUD show your charges. Endu does not need to be in your hand: keep a club or spear equipped for enemies that resist Slash and you can still dash. If you see a platform you cannot reach, you are short a gem, so note it and come back. PC players have also released a community mod for directional Wind Dash.
| Crossing | Dashes | Gem you need | Leads to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eastern bridge | 1 | Wind Gem 1 | Tower of Knowledge door and the Azure Torch |
| Uphill route from the first save point | 1 | Wind Gem 1 | Second Crystal Monument |
| Western broken bridge | 2 | Wind Gem 2 | Flooded ruins and Obmuer Temple |
| Large pit inside Obmuer Temple | 3 | Wind Gem 3 | The rest of the temple and Dagoom |
Three gems are needed for the required crossings, and you do not need all five before entering the Tower of Knowledge. Remember any path that ends at a distant ledge, because later gems turn those dead ends into routes.
Comes installed when you take Endu from the shrine, so there is nothing to find.
Walk uphill from the first Crystal Monument, dash to the second one, climb the rocks between the pillars and fly over to the pedestal.
From the save point beside the large pit, dash into the hole in the wall below. The gem is past the skeleton ambush, near the second Trident Key.
Gems 4 and 5 complete the set and unlock Feel the Wind, but their locations have not been shared yet.
The Storm Gem takes its own socket and adds no dashes. Once installed, Endu slowly fills a special meter, and a full meter lets you call down a charged storm attack. Check your Special key in the controls menu if you are not sure what fires it.
Ignite gargoyles 3 and 7 on the tower balcony to unlock the door beside them.
Pass the next save point and go up the stairwell to the fast travel point near War-Hat's study.
The gem waits at the top. Recovering it unlocks Raging Tempest.
Successful hits raise the equipped weapon's experience. Early Endu levels add 3% Power each, so Level 3 shows a +6% bonus. At weapon level 10 the sword becomes Soul Bound Endu and the level display resets to 1. Strong swings then release an arc of holy energy, and you keep the Wind Dash, every installed Wind Gem and the Storm Gem attack.
Use Endu where Slash works and swap to Impact or Pierce for enemies that resist it. That still feeds the sword experience without dragging out bad matchups. Check what an enemy is weak to →

A further sword exists: the Blade Bathed in Holy Light achievement asks you to forge the True Holy Sword Akunra. How to forge it is still unknown, and very few players have managed it.
